Description

Essential Reports for Teachers (3-hour module) 8:30 AM – 11:30 AM

Participants learn to access, interpret, and apply Measures of Academic Progress® (MAP®) data and resources to inform instruction.

Recommended Audience

This workshop content is intended for staff members who will be applying MAP data from teacher reports or supporting other staff members in this work. For the greatest impact, we recommend that participants include school leadership teams, including administrators, teachers, instructional coaches, data teams, and assessment coordinators

Instructional Ladders (3-hour module) 12:30 PM – 3:30 PM

Participants use data from Measures of Academic Progress® (MAP®) and/or MAP for Primary Grades (MPG), and instructional resources from our proprietary interactive tool for teachers, the Learning Continuum (formerly known as DesCartes: A continuum of Learning ® and/or Primary Grades Instructional Data) to inform instructional planning and differentiated instruction. Participants will learn to integrate standards, MAP growth data and student readiness data, and local curriculum to design tiered instructional plans called instructional ladders.

Recommended Audience

This workshop is intended for staff members who will be applying MAP data from teacher reports or supporting other staff members in this work. For the greatest impact, we recommend that participants include teachers and instructional coaches. Attendance by school and district level administrators who are responsible for curriculum and instruction would bring value to both the learning and to the extension and application of the workshop content.

To maximize participant engagement and retention, audience size is held to no more than 40 participants for each session. Our facilitators incorporate a variety of instructional strategies and stances that engage participants in the learning. The ability to work face-to-face with colleagues and move around a room for various activities optimizes the learning experience.

This workshop is for WEB BASED MAP Users only.

Participants are responsible for arranging and covering the costs for their own travel, meals, and lodging.
